Sharif warns government of another long march

LAHORE: The President of PML(N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that if deemed necessary, he would not avoid even long march from Karachi to Islamabad to ensure the rights of deprived people forcibly .

He was speaking to the inaugural ceremony of 500 newly constructed houses under Ashiyana Housing Project of Punjab Government. He said if the state could provide houses to the rich people, then what is the fault of poor who works day and night to get the loaf of bread for his children , why he can not get his own house. Rich and poor have equal right on Pakistan.
He said that nation is divided into two class . The majority are poor who work on the roads and in the gutters in scorching heat of June and July. But he is not even entitled for three marla land for his house.
“When I was Prime Minister I laid foundation stone of 0.5 million houses for the poor but when Musharraf came to power , no one knew about these houses. If I will get another opportunity , I promise that every citizen of the country would have its own house”, former PM added. Online
