Violence claim 4 lives in Karachi

At least four people were shot dead in acts of violence in different areas of Karachi. 

Aftab Sherpao escapes blast; one killed, six injured in Charsadda

One police cop was killed and six others injured in the result of the suicide attack on PPP Sherpoa Chief Aftaba Sherpao in Sahhbaqadar area of Charsadda, when he was returning back after addressing public gathering; meanwhile Aftab Sherpao and his son Sikandar Sherpao remained safe in the attack. 

No threat to democracy in presence of independent judiciary: CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that democracy is getting strength in the country, adding that no system could be run in Pakistan except constitution.
