MQM to boycott President’s address to Parliament

KARACHI: The Muutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced that it would boycott joint sitting of the Parliament to which President Asif Ali Zardari is scheduled to address to mark the beginning of the new parliamentary year.

Supreme Court seeks details of detention centers

Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has sought the details of all detention centers of secret agencies and adjourned hearing of case regarding 11 missing prisoners of Adiyala Jail till 9th of April. Meanwhile apex court has taken notice of abduction of two boys who visited camps established by relatives of missing persons outside the parliament and has summoned the IGP Islamabad and Attorney General on March 19.
