Senate decides to dispatch relief goods for flood affectees

ISLAMABAD: Senate has decided to purchase and distribute relief goods among flood affectees in Sindh.
Senator Ishaq Dar from PML-N told the house Wednesday 24 senators attended the senate meeting held on Wednesday and they decided that every senator would donate Rs 25,000 each to Flood Relief Fund (FRF). This way Rs 13.1 millions have been collected and a committee has been constituted for utilisation of this fund , he said.

PTI launches dengue awareness, flood relief camps

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has announced to set up separate relief camps for dengue fever patients and flood affectees on Wednesday. Aid agencies launch initiative to help millions affected by floods

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF) welcomes the Government’s recent decision to launch a joint humanitarian response in Sindh, the province most affected by recent monsoon rains, where over five million people in 22 out of 23 districts are affected by flooding.
In addition to the 270 people reportedly killed, over 500 have been injured.
