Pakistan's army chief held talks Wednesday with top U.S. commanders for the first time since American airstrikes killed 24 Pakistani soldiers last year and triggered a near collapse in the nations' already troubled ties at a vital stage in the war in neighboring Afghanistan.

ANP activist among 2 killed in Karachi


KARACHI: Awami National Party’s activist Zainul Abideen was attacked and killed by unknown gunmen who opened fire on his vehicle near the Matric Board Office in North Nazimabad. The ANP has announced that it will observe a day of mourning on Thursday.
