Recent floods and rain in district Badin has resulted in the scarcity of safe

prices. In addition, the breaches in drains and canals have not been
filled yet; meanwhile five persons were died in result of electrocution

forced to live under the sky without proper availability of food and
drinking water.

instead of Rs. 68 and milk Rs. 60.
Prices of other necessary food items such as vegetables, fruits and meat have also been increased up to20 %.

healthcare facilities. The affected people said the government had not
come to their rescue despite lapse of one week.
A 20-year pregnant woman died of gastro-related ailment at a relief camp in Pangrio.
The similar conditions can be witnessed in Tehsil Golarchi Union
Council Tarai, where flood-hit people complained nobody arrived there
to inquire after them. Cattle in large number were carried off by huge
flood torrents.

flood-affectees outside the DCO office in Tando Muhammad Khan, who were
asking for relief goods; meanwhile many women were injured in the
result of the baton charge. SANA
