Provinces to be created on administrative basis rather than political motives can change fate of people: Durrani

OKARA: Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani has said provinces, which are created, on administrative basis rather than political interests can change the destiny of people.

He said this in an exclusive telephonic interview with Online here Tuesday. He held politics had a major role in deteriorating the situation in the country.
He warned that due to ill-conceived policies and political interests of the sitting government, situation in the country was worsening day by day. Any thing like law was nowhere seen in the country, he added. People are seen roaming disappointingly to beg for their rights, he added. But no sign of any change in the attitude of government is visible, he observed.
Those raising slogan of Roti, Kapra and Makkan have in fact kept far away people from these 3 things, he remarked. Blood carnage and lawlessness have been let loose in the country under a pre-conceived plan, he alleged.
Rulers have left city of Quaid-e-Azam at the mercy of murderers and outlaws, he charged.
If government wants to secure future of Karachi then it should take decisions in the national interests beyond political considerations, he demanded Those found involved in target killings be awarded exemplary punishment irrespective of political affiliations so that no one could dare to commit this heinous offence in future, he said.
A vibrant democratic government and bold leadership was needed to steer the country from the crisis like situation, he urged.
Linguistic and ethnic bias be buried and message of national unity be conveyed to common man, he stressed. Online
