ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has convened meeting of Council for Common Interest (CCI) on August, 25.
CCI
during its meeting will accord approval to allow provinces to install
power plants having capacity over 50 megawatt and summary in this
respect has been evolved.
Sources told federal government had
decided to allow provinces to install power plants having capacity
above 50 megawatt. CCI will give final approval in this respect.
Chief
ministers of all the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK prime
minister have also been invited to attend the meeting.
During
the meeting matters related to ministries devolved to provinces
following the passage of 18th amendment will also be discussed. Online
