Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) once again has decided to join the government. The MQM has demanded the ministries of interior and local bodies in Sindh to join the government.
The Leader of MQM would announce the re-joining of government in a telephonic addressing today (Wednesday).
According to a private TV channel MQM would rejoin the Sindh
Government in first phase, adding that for this purpose MQM demanded
the ministries of Local Bodies and Interior; meanwhile MQM would join
the federal government in second phase and the announcement to join the
federal government is expected before the next Monday.
The government time and again invited MQM to join the government, on
which the MQM demanded the ministers of Interior and Local Bodies and
the government agreed to hand over these ministries.
It is worth mentioning here that the 14 provincial ministers
belonging to MQM had submitted their resignations to Acting Governor
Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khuro on 28th June, which still have not been
