LAHORE: The President of PML (N)Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that
independent judiciary could strengthen the country if its decisions
would be implemented in true letter and sprits .
He was
speaking to former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saeed –uz-Zaman
Siddiqui, which called on the leader of PML(N) at his residence at
Raiwind.
Nawaz Sharif said that although there is a free
judiciary in the country , but it is very important that its decisions
would be acted upon and any kind of interference and delaying tactics
should be avoided in this respect. He said that the role of those
conscience follower judges would ever be remembered in establishment of
independence judiciary , which had refused to take oath under tyrants’
PCO.
Justice Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui presented his book “Jinnah Anthology” to Nawaz Sharif on the occasion. Online
