Inquiry reports of cases against DSPs, SPs to surface soon

PESHAWAR: DIG Inquiry Sultan Orakzai said inquiries of cases of more than hundred DSPs and SPs are in process which would be surfaced soon.

Addressing a press conference, DIG Sultan Hanif said people are losing confidence in Police due to corruption in the lower ranks of the police. A special campaign has started to curtail the corruption among the lower ranks and serious actions would be taken against the personnel if found guilty in any of the case. He added corruption reports against policemen are received in separate police stations as people are not getting justice in these police stations. In this regard, people must contact Police Inquiry Section to register their complaints against policemen. He directed DSPs and SPs to make their progress reports publicly known through media briefing. Online
