Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain
has given 48 hours deadline to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime
Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for the restoration of peace in Karachi
city.
Altaf Hussain said that if the massacre could not be stopped within
48 hours than government would be responsible for the reactions that
would take by the citizens for their security.
In a statement issued from London, Altaf Hussain said that if
government of Pakistan cannot arrest the criminals involved in the
peace breaking in Karachi city, then it is the right of citizens to
take measures for their safety and the government would be responsible
for all this.
Altaf Hussain said that we begged for the peace and requested party
workers to stay calm and cool, adding that instead of peace policy the
terrorist attacks were going on and targeting the innocent people.
He said that everything has a limit and the time will decide that
truth would prevail or terrorists could overcome with the force of
bullet. SANA
