Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Khalid
Shamim Wyne called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s
House here on Tuesday and discussed the security situation of the
country.
He apprised the Prime Minister about the professional matters
relating to the three armed forces and their commitment to fight-out
the scourge of extremism.
Prime minister lauded the sacrifices of the armed forces for the defence of the country.
During the meeting both the leaders took account of the needs of the
armed forces; meanwhile prime minister assured that the government
would try its best to fulfill the needs of the armed forces of the
