Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that to restore the lost honour of Pakistan among world nations we should have to break the begging bowl.
Mian Shahbaz said this in a reception hosted by the Pakistani born
British citizens at the end of his five day official visit to Britain,
which was jointly chaired by Mian Shahbaz Sharif and British Minister
Saeeda Warsi.
Saeeda Warsi in her address said that the current visit of Shahbaz
Sharif and his Cabinet would make the bilateral relations more strong
between the two countries, adding that people of both countries
enjoying close ties with each other.
She said that it is need of hour that Pakistan should make the
system of tax more functional, adding that the supremacy of law should
be ensured and end the bad governance.
Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif while addressing the
gathering said that the main problem of Pakistan is unstable economy
and political system, adding that to remove this we should have to take
revolutionary steps.
He said that system is necessary and it depends on the people who
run it, adding that it depend on people whether they would make the
system functional or to destroy it.
He said that I am sure that Pakistan would progress and get out
present crises faced by Pakistan, adding that it is need of hour to get
rid of corrupt leadership, adding that to restore the lost image of
Pakistan among world nations we should have to break the begging bowl.
He said how it is possible that on the one hand we have atomic power
and on the other hand we have a begging bowl in our hands, adding that
both things can’t run same time.
The people of gathering praised the various programs of Punjab government including education, health and economic uplift.
Mian Shahabaz Sharif further said that the relation of Pakistani
living abroad with Pakistan would be further strengthened when there
would be peace and political stability in Pakistan. SANA
