Investigative report of Kharotabad incident has been received by police;
meanwhile IG Police Balochistan Rao Mir Hashim has directed action
against the police officials involved in Kharotabad incident.
A high profile committee headed by Commandant Frontier Constabulary
Bashir Ahmad and comprising of senior police officials has been formed.
It is worth mentioning here that the committee would investigate the
Kharotabad incident in the light of recommendations given by the
Judicial Commission for Kharotabad incident; meanwhile the
institutional action would be taken against the senior officials after
the investigation.
Action against senior official is expected including Ex-CCPO Quetta
Dawood Junejo, Ex-SHO Airport Fazal-ur-Rehman and ASI Raza Khan. SANA
