Interior Minister Rehman Malik Saturday discussed the modalities of Commissionerate System with PML(F) Chief Pir Saheb Pagara.
“Besides, law and order in Karachi, we also discussed Commissionerate
System to be introduced in Karachi on the directives of President Asif
Ali Zardari to Government of Sindh,” said Rehman Malik while talking to
media after holding a meeting with Pir Saheb Pagara at Kingri House
here.
He said under the prevailing law
and order situation, only Commissionerate System could be successful as
the Administration would be held responsible for any lawlessness.
Talking on the occasion, Pir Saheb Pagara endorsed the government’s decision to introduce the Commissionerate System.
“We had demanded Commissionerate System which has been accepted by the Government,” said Pir Saheb Pagara while responding to a question in this regard. APP
