Islamabad : Security forces killed seven militants Saturday in fighting in northwest Pakistan, a media report said.
The fighting took place in the Kurram tribal region, where at least 60 militants were killed since Monday as part of an anti-insurgency operation, Geo TV reported.
Ten militant hideouts were targeted in the operation, it said.
Some 6,000 families have fled the area since the fighting started. IANS
