Peshawar : The district government Peshawar had already stopped the use of animal fate for cooking of Kabab. Even then as per public complaints regarding use of animal fate by certain Kabab Farosh on Charsadda Road.
TMO town-II was directed to conduct raid and apprehend all such Kabab Farosh who are still using animal fate. During the crackdown on Tuesday, 10 Kabab Farosh Farosh were arrested and handed over to the police. The samples of animal fate were sent to the laboratory for necessary analysis. Further action will be initiated on receipt of analysis report from the laboratory. Similarly, for the removal of encroachments and illegal stand operating at Bakhsh Pul, the Town administration given eight hours notice to remove the illegal encroachments/Suzuki stand voluntarily. On expiry of deadline, operation shall be launched by the TMA Town-II for removal of encroachments/Suzuki Stand, says a special report issued by the DCO Peshawar today.
