ISLAMABAD - Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan said the present political scenario of new political alignment calls for mid term elections which can strengthen democracy in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the government is taking timely actions against corrupt elements of the state and society.He said that all politicians should come forward to declaretheir assets and those of their close family members.
Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman said there is no denying the fact that the common man finds it hard to meet the two ends. People are receiving the bills of electricity equal to their salaries.
He criticised the government for making little effort to ease the life of the common man. "I am afraid that if a right decision is not taken by the political elite, it could lead us to some undemocratic development at the end of the day", he opined despite the fact that papularly elected government was in power both at the federal and provincial level.
