Federal government has made Secretary Establishment Sohail Ahmed officer on special duty (OSD) on Tuesday.
According to a private TV channel, the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday
while hearing the hajj corruption case and had ordered the secretary of
establishment division to produce the restoration notification of FIA
investigating officer Hussain Asghar in the court.
Sohail Ahmed presented the restoration notification following court’s deadline.
According to the TV channel sources the government was angry over
secretary establishment for issuance the notification and he is also
considered responsible in alleged bugging of revenue collection in
Federal Board of Revenue as he was the Chairman of FBI prior to
appointment as secretary establishment.
The prime minister already has issued direction to finance minister for holding inquiry of the FBR matter.
Suhail Ahmed has been asked the report in the establishment division and investigations against him has also been initiated by the government.

It is important to mention here that Sohail Ahmed took charge as
Secretary Establishment on July 6th; however, he was made OSD after
