PM Gilani phones political leadership, informs them about Pak India talks

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has taken the political leadership of the country on board on recent round of Pak India talks by saying that the dialogue process would cover wide range issues of bilateral interests including the core matter of Kashmir.

On Tuesday Prime Minster phoned various political leaders including Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, leader of PML (N), Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan Governor Sindh , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, President PML (Q), head of PML (Functional) Pir Sahib Pagara ,Ameer JUI Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, Aftab Ahmad Sherpao, President PPP (Sherpao) and Imran Khan, Chairman, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Prime Minister took the political leaders into confidence on Pakistan-India bilateral talk being held in New Delhi. He informed them about the agenda of talk and progress of deliberations in various sectors between the two countries. The entire political leadership expressed confidence and extended complete support to the Pakistani delegation.
“Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, carries complete mandate of the government during her interaction with the Indian officials and would be able to put across Pakistan’s perspective with confidence”, PM apprised the leaders of the political parties.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistani delegation is in India for the talks , which is being led by Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister for Foreign Affairs, while the other members of the delegation are Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and other high ups of foreign office. Online
