Pak wants result-oriented dialogues with India: FM Hina Rabbani

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Tuesday said that residents of both Pakistan and India wanted peace in the region, adding that Pakistan wants, constructive, meaningful and result-oriented dialogues with India. 

Talking to media persons in Lahore prior to leaving for holding talks with her Indian counterpart SM Krishna in New Delhi, she said that all political parties in Pakistan backed up Indo-Pak dialogues, adding that Mian Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain were taken into confidence regarding the dialogues with India. 
She said that it is the proposal of Pakistan that the Kashmiri leadership should be incorporated in the negotiations for the success of the dialogue process.
She said that Pakistan wants to have good relations with its neighbors, and see towards the neighboring countries with the eye of peace, adding that Pakistan and India are neighboring countries they should not hand over their destiny in hands of any third country.
She said that progress in the region could only be achieved through brining peace, adding that Pakistan and India should hold joint efforts to root out the menace of terrorism from the region.
Hina Rabbani Khar said that we should have to learn lesson from the history but should not stick with it; rather mover forward after learning lesson from the history.
She said that both countries are committed to hold result-oriented dialogues, adding that all the political parties are of the view that the dialogue is the only way to move forward for the progress of the country.
She said that the signals, which are sent from India, showed that the dialogues would be result-oriented.
She said both prime ministers in Thimpu and Mohali decided to move forward with the dialogue process.
Answering a question she said that Pakistan is a front line all in war against terrorism and beard great losses in this war, adding that Pakistan is committed to continue fight against terrorism.
She said that a lot of progress has been made on many issues during the last eight months, adding that both countries are committed to solve all outstanding issues including the Kashmir dispute through dialogue process.
Replying a question regarding the Kashmir issue she said that everyone knows about the principled stance of Pakistan on the issue, adding that the resolutions of the UNO are also present in this regard.
She said that the only solution of the longstanding issues is the dialogue process.
Meanwhile Hina Rabbani Khar reached in New Delhi on Tuesday to hold talks with her Indian counterpart.
At the New Delhi airport she was received by Indian High Commissioner in Pakistan Sharad Sabharwal and other officials; meanwhile Pakistani High Commissioner in India Shahid Malik, Spokesperson of the Foreign Office Tehmina Janjua and other officials were accompanying her.
Talking to media at the air port she said that Indo-Pak. dialogue will continue for peace in the region but Pakistan wants to have fruitful and result oriented dialogue with India.
She added that the leaders of Kashmiri people should have been also invited in the dialogue between India and Pakistan.
“The presidents of both countries wish to have peace in this region,” Khar added. 
She said that the negotiations process will continue for regional peace, adding her country wanted better ties with neighboring countries.
