KARACHI: As maximum as six more persons have been killed while
during last in 24 hours the total number have been reached up to 13
during violence and firing incidents in various parts of the Metro
despite the imposition of section 144 here on Sunday, said sources.
As
per details, unknown armed men opened firing on Abdul Wahid in the area
of Kharadar Police Station. Police has shifted the dead body to Civil
Hospital for autopsy. The deceased was resident of Naya Abad Liyari.
Police
has recovered corpse of Ejaz Baloch S/o Peer Baloch Dad from a house
located in the jurisdiction of Chakiwara Police Station. Police took
the dead body into its custody and transferred to Civil Hospital for
postmortem.
In an other incident, anonymous gunmen opened fire
on Rafique S/o Muhammad Shafique (38) in an area of Golimar Chorangi in
the limits of Gulbahar Police Station. Police has shifted the dead body
to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for necropsy.
Police told that the deceased was belonged to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
While
in Baldia Town No. 7 Graveyard, unidentified armed persons opened fire
and killed 2 persons. According to the eyewitnesses, they heard the
voice of firing and while they entered in the graveyard and found 2
corpses lying on the ground. However, the dead bodies were transferred
to Hospital for autopsy but the deceased could not be identified.
During
search operation police recovered a dead body of a woman wrapped in
sack from Sector 5 located in the jurisdiction of Sarjani Police
Station. Police told that the woman was kidnapped and raped by unknown
persons, while the deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for
postmortem. Police further informed that the woman could not
identified, however, from her appearance it seem that she was Bengali.
Meanwhile,
on the night between Sunday and Monday unknown armed men opened
indiscriminate firing and killed two persons named Saif Ullah and
Salman near Abuzar mosque in an areas of North Nazim Abad Block Q.
Earlier, 4 others had been killed from Sohraab Goth, Baldia Town,
Peerabad and Liyari.
