ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: The meeting between All Pakistan CNG
Association and Petroleum Minster Dr. Asim Hussain ends with partial
success and showed consensus on the new CNG price formula.
The
new formula will give 45% saving in respect of petroleum price to the
CNG users, said Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha headed APCNGA delegation.
The
summary of reduction in Gas curtailment for CNG sector will be sent to
ECC in next 15 days where keeping in view the betterment in the Gas
availability a relief for the public will be announced.

Abdullah Paracha while talking to newsmen after the meeting welcomed
the decision of New Price Formula and thanked to Dr. Asim and set that
we are quite sure that Petroleum Minister will play his vital role
providing relief to 40 Million people. Meeting decided that a New Gas
Distribution Formula on equal basis will be formulated with the consent
of all stake holders and equal distribution of load management will be
initiated.
He further added that we have postponed the
agitation protest and strike call after today’s decision but the
meetings in all the districts will be held on scheduled in which we
will meet the people there and will inform about the details of the
meeting with Petroleum Minister. Online
