SUKKUR: Workers of Pakistan Railways, Sukkur Division, on Monday
held a protest demonstration for not being paid their monthly salaries.
More than 5, 000 workers of electrical, mechanical and other
departments of Sukkur Division are yet to be paid their monthly
salaries.
As a result, they staged a sit-in on railway line to record their protest.
Speaking
on this occasion, union leaders said administration was making lame
excuses on the issue of salaries. “Workers are waiting to get their
