Pakistan should raise Kashmir issue during UNGA: Zafar

ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of PML (N) Raja Zafar-ul-Haq has said that it is deplorable that government did not take the brethren countries into confidence for raising Kashmir issue in the UN General Assembly.

Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, he said that the Muslim countries, especially OIC, might support Pakistan to present the of Kashmir issue effectively during the session of United Nations General Assembly. The stance taken by the country for the last six decades has been now weakening
Prime Minister should be there to deliver his speech at UNGA. When he can go Iran on three days visit during floods, then what was the harm visiting USA? His presence in the country makes no difference to the relief work for flood affectees after all.
“Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar should also talk about the Kashmir problem during her speech to General Assembly as well as in meetings with world leaders”, he added. Online
