The shopping trend has started getting momentum in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasror
as rush of the families especially women and children is being observed
at all the main markets, business points after Traveeh prayers.
The business activities that were seemed very poor from last many
days now have started touching its peak. The special stalls of Hina,
ornaments, bangles, readymade garments and other stuff that adds color
to the Eid festivities have been set at all the main bazaars and
markets of these cities.
The rush of the women was witnessed at the bangles stalls where the
women and girls found busy in shopping the matching stuff for their Eid
dresses. There were many that wanted to have even the matching shoes
and ornaments to celebrate the Eid day that provided more business
opportunity to the owners of shoe and ornaments shops.
As the tailors have stopped booking for the Eid cloths so the rush
at the readymade garments has become the main feature. The men, women
and children can easily be found purchasing readymade garments for
their Eid days at the different markets and bazaars of these cities.
According to a survey conducted by “SANA” there are over hundred of
main bazaars in the District but there were few that known as the best
for the Eid shopping.
Theses were including Lahai Bazar, Budhi Bazar, Bano Bazar, Sambrial
Bazar, Main Bazar Daska, Subadar Bazar Daska, Pasror Bazar, is know as
the best shopping place.
Special Eid bazaars where the make shift stalls took place also
witnessed at many places and the colorful bangles and ornaments found
the main attraction for the female customers here. The girls also found
visiting Hina stalls but normally the girls finally visit the Hina
stalls just a day before the Eid to have all this to celebrate Eid.
Although the new technologies have replaced the traditional things like
Eid cards as the people prefer to wish Eid through internet or SMS but
despite this some stalls of Eid Cards also found at some markets. The
people especially the children found purchasing Eid cards from these
stalls.
It may be mentioned here that the new cloths, shoes, bangles,
ornaments, purses, violets, and Hina always considered as the main
stuff for the Eid shopping and this shopping trend if continues it will
definitely provides the chance to the shopkeepers to have good business
before Eid. The special security measures also an important feature of
all these business and shopping points.
The concerned Station House Officers (SHO’s) Rana Nadeem Tariq has
been asked to ensure deployment of the policemen at al these places.
The patrolling was also asked to ensure to avoid and theft or robbery
incidents. It may be mentioned here that from now with the every
passing day the rush of the families would start increasing at the
markets and bazaars as majority of the families love to have shopping
in the final days of Holy Ramadan.
The shopkeepers hoped that if the law and order situation will remain under control they will have good business. SANA
