PESHAWAR: At least three extremists and an ASI killed and policeman sustained injuries during a Police-Extremists’ encounter in Karkhanao market of Peshawar hereon Monday.
Police said that incident took place in Karkhanao Market Industrial Estate on Jamrud Road when Police Mobile was on routine patrolling. The extremists opened indiscriminate fire on Police near Awami Market.
In the cross firing, ASI Sajid and three extremists were killed and a cop Baksheesh suffered severe injuries. Police recovered weaponry from the possession of the culprits during the encounter.
