Javed Miandad refuses to be batting coach: Intikhab Alam

Pakistan cricket team manager Intikhab Alam has said the West Indies tour will provide opportunity to young players to show their talent.
Talking to media on the opening of two-day training camp of the cricket team at Gaddafi Stadium here, Intikhab Alam said the team needed a batting coach. The PCB had offered Javed Miandad to coach the team but he refused the offer due to personal reasons. Intikhab said, “We will have light training during these two days.” “We will have around four to five days before the series gets underway and that will be ample time for the players to adapt to the playing conditions in St Lucia,” he said. Pakistan will arrive in St Lucia on April 16 and will have a practice game there on the 18th.
