Mirpur Khas, Sindh : MNA Mir Munawar Ali Talpur has said that they are receiving a large number of complaints that massive irregularities are being committed in house-count as the process is being conducted in different ways in urban and rural areas.
Speaking at an awareness program on census at a local hall, he urged the Census Commission authoritiesto take action against those enumerators who are involved in irregularities. MPA Mir Mahboob Ali Talpur also spoke of irregularities and said according to his reports the enumerators mark a single house with many numbers in urban areas but in rural areas a house is marked only with one number. He gave example of Kot Ghulam Muhammad town of Mirpur Khas district where no transparency has been maintained in house-count. He warned of action against such enumerators. Many other local people complained of irregularities.
