Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has urged the people
of Karachi to stand up like India’s Anna Hazare against the present
system, adding that all political parties should initiate joint action
against the people involved in Karachi target killings.
Interacting with newsmen at Karachi airport on Sunday, he said that
MQM’s Karachi Card and PPP’ Sindh Card would go waste, warning Pakistan
will sink, if Karachi sinks.
He said that army would not come in Karachi to eat biryani or nihari; it would come here set up military courts.
To a question, he said bureaucrats are thriving while people are
vulnerable, adding that the people are looking towards chief justice in
present situation they are looking somewhere else, adding that the army
could not only come in Karachi but it would also come in Kahore and
Gujranwala.
The nation, he said, looking toward skies for help, adding that the
last decade of Ramzan is being started from today (Monday) and Allah
doses not reject the prayers of its creatures in Ramzan .
Responding to another question, the AML chief said that Karachi is
the cleanest city, where there no terrorism in mosque, adding that here
is something else going on.
He said the business and industrial activities have also been
severely affected due to present law and order situation in the city,
adding that US is also going to stop aid and what would happened with
the masses if economy of the country would also be damaged.
Moreover, he said politicians are also losing the confidence of
masses in the existing circumstances, adding that both biggest parties
have failed to deliver.
He said that the only solution of the Karachi problem is democracy,
adding that the messages which he is receiving daily if could be
released for media there should become revolution in country in one day. SANA
