One died two hurt in result of firing in Quetta; one attacker killed in police firing

At least one person was shot dead while two other sustained critical injuries at Joint Road in the result of the firing of unknown persons; meanwhile one attacker was killed in the result of the firing of police here on Saturday.

According to the police, the victims were on their way when unidentified armed men opened fire on them and fled away.
As a result, one Abdul Khaliq died on the spot and Mian Khan and Abdul Salam sustained serious bullet injuries. The injured were rushed to the civil hospital for medical aid. The body of dead was handed over to his heirs after legal formalities.
Meanwhile when the attackers were fleeing from the scene the police reached on the spot and opened firing on the culprits resulting in the death of one attacker and injury of another, who managed to flee with other aides on a car.
According to the police the incident is the result of the old enmity between the two Baloch groups. Police have started search of the fleeing attackers after cordoning off the area. SANA
