Ghafoor Haidery demands resignation of Sindh govt over failure to main law & order in Karachi

Leader of the Opposition in Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidery has asked the Sindh government to resign immediately by accepting its failure to maintain law and order situation in the Karachi, adding that three coalition partners are responsible for the violence in Karachi.

He said that the terrorists are enjoying the support of these political parties at some level; meanwhile leveling allegation of involvement in sectarianism on the US Ambassador Cameron Munter, Ghafoor Haidery asked the government to not allow opening of consulates to US in Multan and Quetta.
This he said while exclusively talking to “SANA” at the parliament house after reaching in country after performing Umrah.
He said that the government has completely failed in maintaining the law and order in Karachi, adding that the security agencies have surrendered in front of terrorists in Karachi.
Ghafoor Haidery said that the biggest cause behind the failure is that Awami National Party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Pakistan People’s Party are involved at some extent in supporting the terrorists.
He said that involvement of foreign hand could not be ruled out in the unrest of Karachi, adding that these forces are also involved in the unrest in the city.
He said that the involvement of Black Water, MI Six, Raw, Raymond Davis Network could not be ruled out in the problem.
He said that with the unabated target killing incidents the efforts are being made to destabilize the peace of the economic hub of the country, adding that this would also cause loss to the national economy.
He said that more than 300 billion rupees loss has been beard by the economy of the country, adding that the rulers are engaged in the division of ministries, adding that there is need to keep close eye on the miscreants.
He said that Americans are trying to open new consulates in different cities of the country, adding that decision for opening up of consulate at Quetta has already been taken and land is also purchased for this purpose.
Opposition leader in Senate further said that in the presence of US consulate in Balochistan the situation of the province would further deteriorates, adding that wherever the Americans reach the terrorism reaches automatically there.
He said that target killing of son of Hafiz Hussian Ahmed Shehrodi is the result of giving access to US ambassador in Balochistan.
He alleged that US ambassador in a meeting with likeminded people had decided to fan the sectarianism by starting target killing incidents, adding that setting up of consulate would further deteriorate the situation; meanwhile Haidery asked the government to not allow the opening of US consulates in Multan and Quetta.
