PM Gilani says no hesitation calling in-camera session on Karachi situation

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that there is no hesitation in calling the in-camera session of the parliament over the Karachi issue, adding that the time of mid-term elections in the country has gone and parliament should complete its constitutional term.

This he said while talking to media persons at governor house, adding that I never talked about the competition of term by the government, instead I am of the view that the parliament should complete its constitutional of five years, adding that government respects the view point of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif regarding the fresh elections.
Prime minister said that the whole nation should join hands to solve the issue of Karachi, adding that calling of army is the prerogative of the provincial government, adding that implementation of constitution is necessary future of the country.
He said that the government of Pakistan People’s Party restored the constitution on its original form of 1973 and we want that all the institutions should work under their constitutional limits.
Replying a question regarding the calling of army in Karachi, prime minister said that military operation is not the solution of any problem, adding that the federal government is fully cooperating with the Sindh government for overcoming the Karachi problem.
Prime Minister Gilani said that if some political parties intend to part ways with the government than it is their prerogative, adding that MQM remained the ally of PPP in past and we want to work with him in future also.
He said that after removing the elected government talking about the fresh elections is not a right view point, adding that I never talked about the completion of government term; instead of this I always talked about the completion of the constitutional term of parliament, adding that every matter should be done according to the constitution.
He said that the terrorism should be rooted out at its every form, adding that the terrorists should be brought in the court of justice.
Replying a question, PM Gilani said that President Asif Ali Zardari is elected President and his name was surfaced by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for the president.
Replying a question regarding the judiciary, prime minister said that government respects the decisions of the judiciary and they are implemented in letter and sprit.
