KARACHI: Despite government’s claims of action against miscreants, six more citizens were shot dead in Karachi on Sunday.
According
to reports, Shehryar, 10, and Zeshan, 15, were shot and killed in
Chanisar Goth locality of Mehmoodabad. While a third person, Tahir, was
injured.
An unidentified man was gunned down near Safari Park.
In another incident, an unnamed person was shot dead at Gulshan-e-Iqbal University road.
In
Pak Colony, a dead body was found stuffed in a gunny bag. Earlier,
Water Board engineer Khalid was targeted in Gulshan-e-Hadid.
Four citizens were killed in Federal B. Area, Orangi and Baldia.
Meanwhile, three people allegedly involved in acts of extortion were apprehended from Keamari area.
Police lodged an FIR against the suspects and started investigations. Online
