Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) started investigation in the irregularities and
corruption of the Kuri Model Village Project; meanwhile FIA registered
FIR against the nine officials of CDA and has arrested two of them on
Wednesday.
The sources of FIA told “SANA” that case against the CDA officials
have been registered in Islamabad zone; meanwhile the case registered
against the officials of CDA including former Director Land Dr Waseem
Shamshad, Deputy Director Sheikh Abudul Rasheed, Acting Admin Officer
Asghar Ali, Assistant Director Technical Khalid Khokhar, Sub-Engineer
Technical Mian Aftab Ahmad, Sub Magistrate Ghulam Ali, Ghaniur Rehman
Girdawar and Patwari Shahid Mehmood.
Mian Aftab Ahmad was arrested from his office in Wednesday morning when he was working at his office in G-7/3.
According to the colleagues of Mian Aftab Ahmad the some people
entered in the office of Mian Aftab Ahmad and asked who Mian Aftab is?
Replying to which Mian Aftab Ahmad identifies himself then they brought
Aftab Ahmad out of his office on which the colleagues were gathered
around them.
Meanwhile the persons identified themselves as FIA officials and
informed them that they were arresting Mian Aftab Ahmad for
investigation.
Sources said that these CDA officials had allotted a number of plots
to the effected instead of remittance; meanwhile a report was send to
Prime Minister to the suspension of these people.
Sources said that the FIA officials arrested two officials of CDA
including Magistrate Aftab Ahmad and Acting Admin Officer Asghar Ali
and started investigation from them. SANA
