JI wants army to reject US aid, pull out of terror war

The Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Syed Munawar Hasan has said that the Pakistan army was not a mercenary- force, therefore it should reject the shameful conditionalities of the US aid and pull out of the American war.

Speaking at a function organized by the JI Karachi East, he said the US took the Pakistan army as mercenaries and had tied its aid with disgraceful conditionalities. The situation demanded that Islamabad openly announce pulling out of the US war on terror and reject the US aid.
He said, the US war was not against terrorism, it was war against the Muslim Ummah, especially Pakistan. Under the cover of this war, the US wanted to annihilate
the tribal areas of this country which it thought the breeding ground for Mujahideen. Besides, he said, Washington wanted to take Pakistan’s nuclear assets. In fact, Washington move was to punish this country for its defeat in Afghanistan.
Syed Munawar Hasan termed Karachi as the economic hub of the country and said those talking of military operation in the port city should explain the objectives of such an activity.
The JI chief said that the three and a half years rule of the PPP was only thanks to the PML(N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif, and added that even now, Mian Sahib was busy in drawing room politics.
He said that a true revolution could be brought in the country by throwing out all self centered politicians and bringing in God-fearing and competent people. SANA
