Fazal Mehsud, a close associate of Baitullah Mehsud and alleged commander of
Taliban was released few hours of his arrest by the Crime Investigation
Department (CID) of Sindh police from Kemari at Karachi on Tuesday
night.
According to CID police statement weapons were recovered from the
custody of accused; meanwhile SP CID Fayyaz Khan not only issued the
pictures to media but also associated the accused as the close
associate of Baitullah Mehsud.
Meanwhile the dangerous accused released on bail after few hours by the court of Judicial Magistrate Roshan.
According to the police official Fazal Mehsud had been collecting
funds for the Taliban and providing the Taliban health care facilities,
adding that the accused also provided residence and health facilities
to Baitullah Mehsud.
