Zulfiqar Mirza responsible for violence in Karachi: MQM

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday held Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and senior provincial minister Zulfiqar Mirza responsible for the violence in Karachi.

MQM leader Sajid Ahmed while participating in debate on Karachi situation in the national assembly accused Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for dividing Karachi into war zone.
MQM MNA Abdul Qadir Khanzada claimed that there was no different between situation in Karachi and Palestine.
He accused a Lyari based gang supervised by Zulfiqar Mirza of being involved in the incidents of firing in Malir. The statement delivered by PPP leader Zulifqar Mirza was against the national security.
Efforts are being made to occupy Karachi but MQM would not allow anyone to do so, he said, adding that, Government should increase supply of gas to Karachi electricity Supply Company to end electricity crisis in the country’s economic hub. Khawaja Shoaib Mansoor, another MQM MNA said that his Party lost 15 activists and Peace committee in Karachi are involved in kidnapping of people. Situation in Karachi are going from bad to worse, he said.
Some people wanted to destabilize Karachi so Pakistan could be destabilized, he said. “Unfortunately some ministers are involved in destabilizing the situation in the city, and this should be probed” he said. MNA from FATA Zafar Beg Bhittani criticized the Policies being adopted by MQM said it has become habit of MQM to sit in Government at morning and sit in Opposition at night. The behavior of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain was also negative after statement of Zulfiqar Mirza, he said. All Political Parties would have to play their role for peace in Karachi, he said. Online
