Chairman Senate hands over matter of gay lesbian ceremony held in US embassy to Senate body for action

Acting Chairman Senate Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali handed over the matter for action against the organizers of gay lesbian ceremony held at US Embassy to the Standing Committee of Senate on Foreign Affairs.

It is worth mentioning here that members of Senate said that US contempt constitution of Pakistan, Islam and the people of Pakistan, adding that people were instigated against the constitution of Pakistan on our land; meanwhile the matter was presented by the Senators of JUI-F and JI in the Senate.
Chairman Islamic Ideology Council Moulana Muhammad Khan Sherani said that support from US President was ensured to all the participants of this ceremony and were instigated against Pakistani constitution.
He said that no religion allows such kind of acts, adding that agreements are strucked according to the constitution of the country, adding that no protocol could become hurdle in the way of investigations of the matter.
Senator Rehmat Ullah Kakar said that Pakistan is leading the Islamic world and the American embassy has become the centre of wrong things, adding that action is necessary against such acts.
Senator Ismail Buledi said that US embassy hurt the feelings of 170 million people of Pakistan, adding that accountability is necessary for such acts.
He requested that the issue should be sent in standing committees of religious affairs and privilege, adding that the advice of the Islamic Ideology Council should also be taken regarding the matter.
Acting Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Jamali said that Pakistan is an ideological state and it is the violation of the Pakistani constitution.
He said that the in foreign embassies millions of the rupees vine is served and some Pakistani over drink thinking that they are drinking last time.
He said that Pakistani people are fed up with the US, adding that the US has overcome Pakistani government; meanwhile the acting chairman handed over the matter for action to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs. SANA
