PESHAWAR: The officers and employees of FIA have been disappointed
as government failed to keep its promise to double their pay scales.
According
to FIA sources this disappointment and discontent have increased after
the announcement of new budget for the fiscal year 2010-11. The pay
scales of security forces and police have been increased up to 100 % in
the new budget, in reference to which FIA has demanded to increase the
pay scale of its employs and officers as well.
The interior
minister Rehman Malik has announced that the government would increase
the pay scales of FIA employees as well but it once again failed to
