NEW DELHI: Pakistan’s interior minister Mr Rehman Malik, who was on
his way to Bhutan to attend a Saarc meet, Friday tweeted his greetings
to “Indian brothers and sisters” saying the two countries wanted peace
for coming generations.
According to PTI, “My best wishes from
Dehli (sic) to my Indian brothers and sisters. We all want peace and
nothing but peace for coming generations,” he said during a transit
halt here.
In another tweet, the Pakistani minister said “media needs to play its vital role for peace in this region”.
Mr Malik was on his way to Thimpu to attend the three-day conference of the Saarc interior/home Ministers.
