Gunmen on two motorbikes killed Jumma Khan Raisani, a senior leader of the Balochistan National Party- Mengal (BNP-M), in an attack in Khuzdar district of Balochistan province here on Friday.
Three others, including Mr Raisani’s bodyguard and driver, were also killed in the attack.
Authorities said Mr Khan was on his way home after offering Friday prayers at a mosque when the attack occurred.

The attackers managed to escape from the scene; meanwhile the police
and Levis have cordoned off the area and has started the search
operation for the arrest of the culprits behind the attack. Meanwhile
no group has claimed responsibility of the attack.
The situation in Khuzdar after the attack has become worsen;
meanwhile the dead bodies of the killed persons have been shifted in
the civil hospital Khuzdar for the autopsy.
Talking to a private TV channel central spokesman of the party agha
Hassan Baloch condemned the incident and said that this is an effort of
rules to sideline the party, adding that 25 activists of the BNP-M have
been killed in recent few months in various areas of the province. SANA
