Baig for army help to implement SC verdicts

Former Chief of Army staff General (retd) Mirza Aslam Baig has said that the army should help Supreme Court of Pakistan in implementation of decisions so that the court could continue playing its responsibilities in a perfect way.

He said that the army should play its role by keeping in the limits of constitution of Pakistan so that the decisions of the Supreme Court could be implemented in letter and sprit; otherwise the critical situation of the country would be converted into the situation like Egypt, Yemen and Libya.
This he said in an interview with a private TV channel, adding that situation of the country is becoming bad to worse with the passage of every day due to non-implementation of the court orders, adding that this situation could also lead towards martial law in the country.
He said that if the government would not implement the orders of Supreme Court, the Judges might be resigned and in this situation army could use as pretext for the imposition of martial law in the country, because only army can tackle with worst situation.
He said that he is not in favor of Iran, America and Saudi Arabia but he is in the favor of China. He said that in Afghanistan the America and its allies have been defeated in the hands of Taliban.
He said that now the Americans are making their all out efforts for stopping the formation of Taliban government in Afghanistan. He said that he is in favor of Taliban, the Taliban who won this war against America.
