ISLAMABAD: Additional Director General of Federal Investigation
Agency (FIA) Zafar Qureshi Saturday has taken back the charge of
investigation to probe National Insurance Company Limited (NICL)
financial scam.
According to media reports, after retaking
charge, the head of investigation team Zafar Qureshi wrote a letter to
Director General to cancel the transfer orders of his team mates.
He
said in the latter that these transfer orders have become illegal after
the verdict of the Supreme Court. Meanwhile the spokesman of FIA said
that transfer orders were conducted on government policy and were not
based on prejudice.
Earlier, the Supreme Court on Friday
suspended the transfer notification of Zafar Qureshi, who was probing
the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scandal. Online
