ISLAMABAD: The Spokesman of the Federal Investigation Agency while
commenting on the news item being misinterpreted by some television
channels regarding transfers/postings of officers of Federal
Investigations Agency has stated that these were normal routine orders;
says a press release received here on Saturday.
The posting
order of eight officers has been issued who had already completed more
than four years on the same positions. The normal time-period of
government’s officer against any assignment is three years which could
be extended to a maximum of four years.
The purpose of this
fixed time period of posting is to ensure that the abilities of the
officers and the functioning of the department do not get stagnated.
Therefore the speculations in this regards are misleading and incorrect. Online
