KARACHI: The relatives of two missing persons have demanded that
both Ajmal Waheed and Osama Waheed should be retrieved form the
clutches of secret agencies.
They were addressing a press
conference at Karachi Press Club on Saturday. “The both real brothers
Ajmal Waheed and Osama Waheed were released from Adiyala jail
Rawalpindi on the orders of Islamabad High Court on 30 June 2011 at
about 9:30 pm in the presence of media, but when journalists went from
the place after coverage, then all of a sudden police and secret
agencies raided and took them into custody illegally along with other
relatives”, the father of hostages Hafiz Waheed Ullah Khan told the
reporters.
After that the jail administration released all the
relatives apprehended besides both brothers with some interval of time.
But the said brothers Ajmal and Osama were detained and they were sent
to Karachi along with some other detainees through Air Blue flight no.
ED-0201 on July 1st at 9:30 in the morning.
All the people who
were dispatched by the police have reached home safely, except these
two brothers, Ajmal Waheed and Osama Waheed., who were kidnapped by the
secret agencies form the airport and shifted them to some unknown
location. The parents could not know their whereabouts even after lapse
of almost 32 hours.
Hafiz Waheed said that the police have been
informed about the incidents; however they refused to receive
application in this regard. After that the court has been moved.
“Osama
dropped me at Karachi Cantt railway station in his green colour
high-roof carry van bearing registration number CK-1912 on 14 December
2008. After that he was kidnapped by the security agencies with his
vehicle. On which his elder brother Ajmal has submitted the writ
petition in high court”, the poor father told the media while weeping.
The
case was under trial in the court, when they came to know through media
on 29 January 2009 that Osama Waheed was shifted to Adiyala jail under
the charges of terrorism. Court after many hearings acquitted him of
all the allegations and released him, but the Pakistani secret agencies
took over both the brothers.
Poor Hafiz Waheed demeaned the government that his both sons may be released immediately. Online
