Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif the Chief Minister of Punjab has said that the statement of Americans that they would not evacuate the Shamsi Airbase is like a slap on the face of Pakistanis.
He said that the beggar government would not be able to evacuate the
airbase from the custody of the US, adding that the government is
keeping mum over the statement of US for not evacuating the airbase.
This he said while addressing the conference arranged by Pakistan
Ideology Council, adding that Pakistan army is the best army in the
world and it has rendered matchless sacrifices in war against
terrorism.
He said that the politicians were involved in the corruption, adding
that the institutions including military and judiciary were also
indulged in corruption.
He said that if we would not stop begging from foreign countries, there would be no sign of us in the world one day.
The people of Pakistan annoyed only from some generals who violated the constitution of Pakistan for their personal interests.
Mian Shehbaz Sharif said that the Pakistan is facing the most
difficult time in its history after the fall of Dhaka. He said that
after the breaking of Pakistan, this is most painful time period for
the people of Pakistan.
He said that if we want to make Pakistan prosper then we would have
to accept the mistakes of 63 years which were more then our right
decisions. Our winnings are less then our defeats. We have to admit our
mistakes. Until we would not admit our mistakes we would not take over
our shortcomings.
He said that today we have to review our mistakes, the country that
was established on the name of Islam why broken only after 24 years of
its establishment. We also review that the founder of Pakistan
liberated the Pakistan for the peace of Muslims why it is coloured with
the blood of Muslims.
He said that today our Mosques, Shrines, Markets and even our
military installments were not safe and they were at the target of
terrorists.
He said that Pakistan is a democratic country but in 60 years,
military dictators took over its charge and rule on it for 23 years.
They sold our sovereignty. He said that all the facilities were for the
rich community and 90 percent of people have not access to the basic
necessities of life, adding that we have to find the answer of these
questions being a nation.
He said that the leaders would have to decide including me that they
would not allow the policy makers to make more mistakes. He said that I
admit the negligence’s of politicians but the main problem are the
dictators who de-track the democracy after some time.
He said that the Pervez Musharraf had the self respect then today the situation of Pakistan would have been different.
He said that the Pakistan army is one of the best armies in the
world and have rendered great sacrifices in war against terrorism and
more then 35 thousand people of Pakistan also sacrificed their lives.
He said that the government asked the America to leave Shamsi
Airbase but the American’s said how dare you to ask us to leave the air
base, you are the beggars.
He said that the foreign aid, which is having the seeds of
disrespect would not be accepted, adding that I could sacrifice my life
but would not accept this kind of foreign aid. SANA
