PM stops Naveed Qamar from going to Britain

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minster Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has stopped former member Parliamentary Commission for Implementation of 18th Amendment and Federal Minister for Water & Power Syed Naveed Qamar to go to Britain due to the ongoing energy crisis in the country.

According to the Well-placed sources, a Pakistani delegation which is headed by former Chairman Parliamentary Commission for Implementation of 18th Amendment, Senator Raza Rabbani will leave for Britain today (Sunday). The delegation will leave for Britain upon the special invitation of British government.
Sources also told Online that Syed Naveed Qamar has asked for a permission from the Prime Minster that he wants to join the delegation, but the PM refused to allow him to go to Britain and directed him to stay in Pakistan by keeping in view the ongoing energy crisis.
It is pertinent to mention here that a former member, who resigned from the Commission, Senator Ishaq Dar had also been invited to join the delegation by Senator Rabbani. While Senator Ishaq Dar has accepted the invitation of Mr. Rabbani and now he would join the envoy from United Arab Emirate. Online
