Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan wants
relations with all neighbours including India on the basis of sovereign
equality and mutual respect.
He was responding to questions by newsmen after inaugurating a photographic exhibition in Islamabad on Thursday. The Prime Minister told a questioner that on the issue of American military or civilian assistance to Pakistan, both the Government and the Armed Forces are on the same page.
To a question, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said the Government respects all institutions. He said a Government that has restored the Constitution cannot think of clash with any institution. Instead, he said, the government wants to build institutions and anything on the contrary was mere speculation. SANA
